Cold cured foam technology allows an increase in foam density so the comfort is long lasting. The relax line is all top grain leather so make no mistake of the quality that you will receive when you purchase from Fjords of Norway. You can choose between chairs small and large, motorized or manual and a large color selection in the AL line.  Fjords of Norway uses only top grain leather for the entire recliner and is available in a variety of colors. Pictures of the assorted colors are listed and may need to open show more pics in order to see all available. Below is a description of the three different grades of top grain leather offered NL, SL, and AL: NORDIC LINE (NL) is a fully protected top grain leather which undergoes careful processing to ensure a finished product that is more resistant to liquids and sunlight. This treatment also protects Nordic Line leather from stains and minor wear while reducing everyday maintenance to an absolute minimum. A perfect choice for furniture that is heavily used. Here below are some the colors available. SOFT LINE LEATHER (SL): This leather cannot be produced from just any bovine(cow) hide. Soft Line Leather hides must be relatively free of marks and are priced accordingly. It is uncorrected , meaning the surface of the hide has not been sanded smooth to remove imperfections and natural marks. This gives the leather natural variation in grain, and an improved look and feel. The top grain leather has been mechanically stretched and flattened at the tannery for a smoother appearance.Soft Line has a pigment layer on the surface, color matched to exacting standards at the tannery to ensure a high quality, high accuracy product that matches closely to the samples provided. It also has a clear protective layer applied over the pigment layer for protection. ASTRO LINE LEATHER: This is our best leather, and cannot be produced from just any bovine(cow) hide. This makes the raw material costs significantly higher than NL grade, as the hides must be relatively free of marks and have unusable areas that do not meet Astro Line standards. It is uncorrected, meaning the surface of the hide has not been sanded smooth to remove imperfections and natural marks. This gives the leather natural variation in grain, and an improved look and feel. This top grain leather has been allowed to shrink at the tannery for a grainier, more varied and NATURAL appearance. Fjords Venice color NL and SL Leather color selections are under product Venice Recliner NL and SL leather customization. Fjords warranty 10-years warranty – Frames. 10 years for the metal frame and all steel mechanical functions. Classic Comfort Collection, Relax Collection, Modern Living Collection and Norsk Collection only. 5-years warranty – Molded Foam, Wood components, Gas Cylinders and all Cables. Molded cushions are warranted against collapsing for a period of 5 years. Loss of foam resiliency should not be confused with softening of foam which results from normal wear and tear. 3-years warranty. 3 years for swing Relax Collection and Modern Living Collection reclining mechanisms and power components. 2-years warranty. 2 years on leather or fabric covers. i. This is not an unlimited warranty. ii. For fabric: this is a warranty against pilling or wear through only. iii. For leather: this is a warranty against wear through or tearing only. It does not warrant against soiling, especially soiling caused by sweat and other body fuids. iv. It does not warrant against fade or color loss. Delivery: Estimated delivery time frame is 2-3 weeks for all Quickship colors that are in stock and all others not listed as Quickship normally take about 16 weeks.
